What Is Edge Banding?
Edge banding involves applying a narrow strip of material to cover the raw edges of plywood, MDF, particleboard, or blockboard. This strip can be made from PVC, ABS, wood veneer, or melamine and is bonded using heat or adhesives.
Edge banding improves not only the appearance but also the durability of panels by preventing moisture ingress and chipping.
